Sunday School
(starting Sept. 10, 2023)

• Lower Elementary - In this class for pre-k through 2nd grade, students will learn traditional Bible stories, do crafts, sing songs, and participate in other hands-on activities to help the Bible stories come alive.

• Upper Elementary - In this class for 3rd through 5th grade, students will dig deeper into Bible stories, do crafts, and participate in both discussions and hands-on activities to create personal connections to the Bible stories they are learning.

• Middle/High School Teaching Assistants - Students in 6th through 12th grade are presented the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for the younger grades.

• Friendship Class - This adult class follows multiple short studies throughout the year chosen by the class participants.

• Women’s Class - This class for women follows multiple Biblical studies throughout the year that are geared toward women. • Tradition & Wisdom - This is a more tradition 

Chancel Choir & Handbells

  Adult Handbell Choir

The adult handbell choir rehearses on Monday evenings from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. (no rehearsals during the summer). This is the only choir that uses a limited number of people.  For information contact Pastor Karen at handbells@elktonumc.org

 
Chancel Choir

The chancel choir (high school - adult) rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. They sing at both services from September to June and perform two major works a year.

"Just Older Youth"

JOY! is a group for those 50 and older, but we never check IDs!  So if you’re not in this age group yet, but something we’re doing looks interesting to you, come and join us!  We welcome everybody to join in the fun with us!  For more information contact Rev.
